Dr. Schulman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University Of California at Davis, School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Following veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. She then took her residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Illinois, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. In 1999, Dr. Schulman became board certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She has authored numerous book chapters, and journal articles, and has lectured nationally on a variety of topics. Dr. Schulman’s special interests include endocrinology, respiratory disease and endoscopy.
