Dr. Andreou then completed a one-year rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, where he also worked as a licensed veterinary technician from 1998 to 2001. In addition to his studies at Cornell, Dr. Andreou graduated Cum Laude from Mercy College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Besides Dr. Andreou’s professional interest in surgery and emergency medicine, he also has a passion for avian and exotic medicine. In 2004, he was honored with the Pamela Slack Award, which is presented to the third-year student who has demonstrated the most outstanding competence and motivation in avian medicine. Dr. Andreau recently moved from New York City and resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife, Vicki, newborn daughter, Eleni, and their numerous pets. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, oil painting and going to the beach. |

Dr. Andreas Andreou received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
