A little common sense
goes a long, long way.
We (the animal-loving folks at Animal Specialty Group) are a specialty hospital, dedicated to providing the most comprehensive, cutting-edge and compassionate care possible to our patients, their referring vets and the animals they love. And we’re extremely happy you’re here. We’ve spent countless hours designing and building this website in order to create a better bridge between the referring veterinarian, the patient, and ourselves – all to help ensure that animals of all shapes and sizes are better able to take advantage of the specialized treatment and compassionate care we provide.
Within this site you’ll find a great deal of information about us, what we do, how we do it, who we’ve done it for, why we do it, as well as ongoing articles, blogs, galleries and stories all focused on making the pet-vet-patient-specialist experience as complete as possible.
Be who you say you are
ASG is dedicated to serving both referring veterinarians as well as our pet-loving patients. And in order to provide information to both, we sometimes need to know which camp you are in. Which is why we ask for all veterinarians to provide their practice names – so that we know for certain who we’re talking to. So please, be yourself. And never change. Whether you’re a veterinarian, a patient, or just someone who’s visiting our site. We love you just the way you are.
Keep things child friendly
This site is aimed to be child friendly. This includes the use of language. Language such as s**t and ***hole can cause distress. To stay out of trouble, simply use calmer words such as “poop” or “idiot” that are suitable for the younger audience, such as your 6-year old son, or 5-year old niece. If you don’t want them reading it, don’t be the one to write it. Simple as that.
We love and encourage users to share their stories, experiences and photos with us. In fact, without our patients and referring vets, we wouldn’t be here. But please remember, if you post it, you own it, and it is assumed that you are not violating anyone’s copyright by using someone else’s content as your own (without written permission, of course).
Now, this is where we need to get a little technical with our legalese, just for protection. (In a very fast “legalese” voice): As a user-content provider, you are solely responsible and liable for your communications and submissions (and the consequences) made under your name, user name, email address, or user information, if any. User Content does not reflect the views of Animal Specialty Group, and neither ASG, nor any of its Affiliates, represents or guarantees the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any User Content, or endorses or supports any opinions expressed in any User Content. In no event shall ASG or its Affiliates have or be construed to have any responsibility or liability for or in connection with any User Content. You agree you will not submit or attempt to submit, and we have the right to reject, refuse to accept, remove or otherwise handle as ASG deems appropriate, any “Unauthorized Content”, which is defined as any User Content that is or could be construed as violating both literal and ethical laws, including, without limitation:
- Infringing on a third party’s copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- Causing harm or harassing anyone, which may prevent, prohibit, inhibit, restrict or otherwise impair others from using or enjoying the Site;
- Unauthorized access to information of other users;
- The modification, impairment, disruption, alteration or interference with the use, features, functions, operation or maintenance of this website; or
- Any requirements, rules, terms or conditions that may be applicable to standard user content submission terms.
